Damages and breakages
Your credit card details will be held as security. Breakages or damage to the apartment resulting from your occupancy will be paid for by the guest. In the event of damages incurred by you or your visitors to the apartment, your credit card will be deducted with a charge in accordance with the damages and a receipt will be forwarded to your nominated email address.
Facilities
All apartments are fully furnished and equipped with linen. They have a well equipped kitchen, TV with Austar, DVD/CD player and safe.
Your apartment has a telephone line. All local calls are FREE. STD and ISD are not available.
Internet
Wireless and cable broadband is available in your apartment. On arrival you will be given a unique user name and password to access the internet for the duration of your stay. Passwords are changed from time to time to protect our service, if your password changes during your stay at Portman House we will inform you immediately. This is a free service, please do not abuse it. Excessive downloads/uploads [more than 1GB per week] will be charged to your credit card and a receipt will be forwarded to your nominated email address. We have access to reports that log your usage by username, password and date.
If you do not have a wireless facility on your computer and if you do not have a ethernet cable you can ask our Guest Manager to provide one for a deposit of $10.00 which will be returned to you once you return the cable.
